HATS
is delighted to announce their second annual
HATS Off to the Arts event, a gala benefit promoting
the appreciation and ownership of high quality art. Proceeds from the
event will go to the Humane Animal Treatment Society (HATS), to aid them
in their ongoing efforts to better the lives of companion animals in
Isabella County, Michigan.
Join us Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Herbert H. and
Grace A. Dow Health Professions Building on the
campus of Central Michigan University. Enjoy exceptional hors d’oeuvres
and desserts, sip fabulous wine and
spirits, listen to excellent live music, and view and
purchase wonderful art. The format is similar to visiting
a great
gallery, with artwork thoughtfully displayed, and
artist and gallery
source information next to each piece. Prices are clearly shown, and
there is no pressure to purchase.
As a guest, you will be viewing artwork
specially gathered
for this event from around the country, and from our talented Michigan
artists. HATS Off to the Arts is offering a special champagne preview
this year, giving guests the opportunity to view the art exhibition
early, enjoying champagne and delicious treats, while visiting with
artists and other guests.
HATS Off to the Arts is a special event, high quality, and a lot of fun.
The organizers will be presenting
the artists and galleries best works—memorable and irresistible—in a
festive environment, with no program or speeches. You may come, look,
and leave…or as most guests did last year, come, look,
and stay! For those who purchase artwork, half of the sale price is a
donation to HATS, a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. You can indulge
your love of the arts, and do something to help homeless animals, too.
