HATS Off To The Arts

HATS ORGANIZATION

HATS, the Humane Animal Treatment Society, has been helping companion animals in Isabella County, Michigan, since their organization was formed in 1999. They are a volunteer animal welfare organization, whose original goal was to help Isabella County build their new animal shelter, in addition to helping the animals find permanent homes.

Over the years, HATS evolved, and is now playing a broader role—providing daily care, vaccines, medical intervention, and spay and neuter services to the now over 4000 animals a year entering the Isabella County Animal Control Facility. In addition, the HATS organization offers spay and neuter assistance programs, humane animal care education, and many other services.

Last year, the organization took a step in a somewhat different direction and created a new benefit event, in an effort to generate more funding to help cover the rising cost of vaccines and medical attention, and to provide for future expansion of the facility to house puppies and cats. The new event was “HATS Off to the Arts”, a gala benefit promoting the arts. Our inaugural event was very successful and highly enjoyable, and we would be delighted if you would join us for our next HATS Off to the Arts benefit!
